Governor Culver signs Iowa's first Generations Commission into law

Virginia Anderson, President of YP Iowa along with over 60 young leaders from across the state stood with the Generation Commission Bill creators Rep. Elesha Gayman and co-sponsors Rep. Andrew Wenthe and Rep. Tyler Hamilton. These young Democratic legislators, all under the age of 30, took the lead on getting young people in Iowa heard on critical growth issues. Dubuque area Representative Steve Lukan was also on hand helping to lend bi-partisan support to this new and groundbreaking initiative. We at 365 thank them all for taking the lead for young Iowans. Great work.

This new Iowa commission will see a group of Iowans under the age of 35 tasked with educating the Legislators and the Governor's office on what young Iowans' are seeking when choosing to come to or remain in Iowa.
