Harry Potter book 7 goes on sale at Midnight
The wait is over and hundreds of kids, parents, and kids at heart showed up last night at the big downtown Harry Potter release party. The shindig started off with a bash at the Carnegie Stout Public Library complete with lots of treat for the kids, face painting, characters in costume, a trip to Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizzardry and even inflatable rides outside. Then the excited crowd paraded two blocks to River Lights 2nd Edition Bookstore where the Harry Potter Book 7: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows went on sale at Midnight. A steady stream of ecstatic fans, young and old alike, snaked through the beautiful new downtown bookseller and held their copies up in triumph. I'll admit we were one of them. We're home now listening to our audio book version. Here we go...
