Polar Plunge 2006
It's that time of the year again for scantily clad people to jump into a freezing river for a good cause. The Special Olympics in the beneficiary of this display of group insanity. They gathered at the Dubuque Water ski Club on Saturday morning and took to the icy waters to show support and raise money. Once again, our good, clearly imbalanced friend, Doug McCallum was on hand to catch it all on camera. He's used his medical injury as an excuse to avoid going in himself, instead sending in his poor wife. We kidding of course. Thanks Doug for all the great pix, and our hats off (and other clothes as well) to all the brave souls who made the choice to sacrifice their bodies for Special Olympics.
