Gary Olsen's Grand Excursion Print Unveiling
Renowned Dubuque artist Gary Olsen unveils his latest painting at a lavish reception
portside at the Diamond Jo Casino. The original oil painting and subsequent
prints were created as both a fundraiser for the Dubuque Rotary Club's
Gateway Welcome Signage
project
(also designed
by
Olsen) as well as an awareness raiser for the upcoming unprecedented community
celebration event, the Grand Excursion. A longtime friend and collaborator
of Dubuque365.com and it's creators, we're thrilled to tip our hats to
Gary's talent, initiative and community spirit. This is the first new
major artwork to feature the new Dubuque cityscape and all of the America's
River additions. The painting also features all of the historic paddle
wheelers that will be visiting Dubuque as part of the Grand Excursion in
June. Seeing that the prints were numbered from a run of only one thousand,
you will want to get your copy quickly before they are all gone. Considering
the subject matter, the cause, and the quality, this
promises to be the fastest selling Olsen work of all time. Congratulations
Gary, from all of us at 365, on another great piece and another lasting
contribution to the Dubuque community. Click here to get more info on Gary's amazing print and where you can
