The 2007 Albrecht Acres Hall of Fame & Volunteer Celebration
The 2007 Albrecht Acres Hall of Fame & Volunteer Celebration was held on Sunday, Nov. 11 in the Kehl Center Gymnasium at Albrecht Acres. This year's event featured a social hour and dinner. Terry Duggan was the Master of Ceremonies. This celebration recognizes the volunteers who put in so many hours helping the camp and new inductees into the Albrecht Acres Volunteer Hall of Fame.

2007 Person of the Year: Dick McGrane
2007 Couple of the Year: Phil & Punkie Birkel
2007 Special Awards: Ed Gau - Donut Boy, Steve Kaune - Farmland Foods
2007 Hall of Fame Inductees: Gary Dolphin, Bob Mueller, Chuck Spielman, Dr. Heyo Tjarks

Gary Dolphin, voice of the Iowa Hawkeyes, was specially honored with a hand-made Iowa Hawkeye end table that was presented by camp volunteers and his co-host for the Iowa Hawkeye broadcasts, Ed Podolak. Jamie Flowers and Jean McCallum were the guest speakers and related stories from Jamie's 18+ years attending Camp Albrecht Acres. As you can see, a Great time was had by all!
