Logs - Like one of those impossible puzzles you might find in the sharper
image catalog, the River Discovery Center comes together, hundreds of
giant wooden beams, concrete, and more to make up a spectacular maze
of a museum. You have to stand inside the shell of the museum to feel
the sheer size and beauty of the structure. In the photos below you
will see not only this heavy timber construction, you will also see
a giant paddle wheel being carefull re-fitted with new palddles, and
a harbor being dredged and refilled to create the coming outdoor wetlands
area.
