| A
few days shy of St. Patrick's Day, progress "March"es on
at the River Discovery Center. With most of the structural work complete
but cold temperatures persisting outside, crews focus on interior
details in the museum. The aquariums receive finishing touches to
their artificial tree stumps and rock backgrounds. Drywall flies
up all over the building and painters work to prime walls. With the
non load bearing walls and aesthetic design elements now coming into
the building, the final layout of the building becomes much easier
to spot. However, there is a massive amount of open floor space in
the center. It will be very exciting to see the exhibits as they
are constructed to fill this huge open area. |
