Reflecting Upon Greatness - July 25th, 2003

With only weeks left before construction is complete, the Grand River Center really takes shape inside and out. Most of the rooms are being mudded after drywall was recently installed. The offices are nearly complete having been painted and carpeted already. Glass is installed throughout the center and electronics and communications wiring are finished throughout. In the photos below you will also find images of areas such as the colorfully tiled restrooms, great views from thebuilding extension which reaches out over the river, and numerous exterions from nearly evey angle. This will be Dubuque's largest convention complex and after a tour, you would agree it might also be Dubuque's most strikingly impressive building period.
