Hi! I'm Jan Feltes, the owner of Jan's Grate Shop. I had a passion seven years ago to create a business in the historic downtown community of Dubuque, Iowa. Nestled in the bluffs of the almighty Mississippi River, a city so rich in heritage and beauty of grand homes and churches built in the 1830's.My shop is on the corner of 4th and Bluff Street in a historic 1850 Victorian home.

As you walk into the front room, the aroma is a sweet, inviting flavor of decorative candles, a large assortment of floating candles, inspirational books, pottery, wine totes, kitchen accessories and gadgets. The second room is plentifully stocked with beauty bath products and kids activity sets. The "Kitchen Room" is my favorite room. The aroma of fresh coffee is enticing. We offer over 30 flavored coffees including Regular, Decaffeinated, Colombian Supremo, French Roast, and Espresso. All are guaranteed fresh and ground to perfection. Each year I surprise my coffee club members with new and exciting blends of coffees. Some are my very own creation. As you browse in my shop you will see such name brands as Shiela Select Soups, Rabbit Creek Breads and Muffins, Jardines Salsas, El Paso Jalapeno Jelly, Republic of Tea, Iowa Popcorn Caramel Pretzels, Ghiradelli Chocolates, Trappistine Creamy Caramels, and much, much more.
